Interested in hosting a Leah Marlene house show?

  3. Sit tight, and we’ll reach out when we’re routing through your area. (Filling out the form does not guarantee a house show, but it’s a way for us to start the process.)

Click the button below to fill out interest form and let us know about your space & location. We’ve designed this to be an accessible and fun way to bring live music and community to your home. There is NO UPFRONT COST to host. However, to ensure the show is viable, we do require the minimum ticket sales to be met. We’re looking for spaces that can hold around 35-50+ people (a big living room or basement, art gallery, photography studio, loft space, yoga studio, church, etc.). If you’re interested in hosting an outdoor show, you must have an indoor space at the same address that can accommodate the agreed-upon capacity in case of inclement weather.

 

MARKETING THE SHOW:

We need your help connecting with your local community! Once your show is confirmed, a member of Leah’s team will reach out to discuss how you can support the marketing efforts. While Leah’s team actively promotes every show, we rely on hosts like you to collaborate with us in spreading the word to existing Leah Marlene fans in your area.

We will provide you with everything you need (photos, marketing materials, ticket links, Facebook events, and more) to help get the word out to your friends. Social media is an effective and great way to spread the word. Sending out personal text messages and emails is also a great way to reach people.

 

TICKETS:

All tickets are sold in advance, typically for $20-25. Your name and address will never be public. Ticket buyers will only receive the house show address after purchasing their ticket(s). No tickets will be sold at the door. As the host, everyone in your household gets in for free. Everyone else will be directed to Leah’s website to purchase tickets.

Leah will arrive 1 hour before showtime. Expect ticket holders to begin arriving 30 minutes before showtime.

 

FOR THE GUESTS:

Consider rearranging furniture to maximize the space. Though it’s not required, you may want to get some extra chairs for the night, whether from friends or rentals. It’s also totally fine (and certainly easier) to have people sit on the floor, which can sometimes make room for an extra 10-15 people. This is entirely up to you.

Refreshments for guests are NOT required, but they are always welcomed. Some hosts enjoy providing an array of appetizers, wine/beer, and small snacks.

 

ALCOHOL POLICY:

Typically, house shows are BYOB (our message to guests: “You are allowed to bring a few beers or a bottle of wine to enjoy at the show. Please be responsible with both your consumption of alcohol and the disposal of waste after the show."). If you prefer guests not to bring alcohol, no worries—just let us know when confirming your show.

If you have pets, please prepare to keep them in an area of the house where they won’t disturb the guests or disrupt the show.

 

FOR LEAH:

Leah’s house shows are typically played without amplification. Leah will need a small 5x5 ft space to stand for the performance. Think ahead of time about a good spot for Leah to perform that will accommodate the most people and provide the best viewing and listening experience for everyone.

Please decide upon a designated 'green room' somewhere in your space. Whether it’s a guest room or a bonus room, Leah would like a private space to prepare before the show and spend a few minutes after. If possible, Leah would appreciate a few bottles of water in the 'green room.'

What’s a show without merch? Please set aside an area on a table for Leah’s merchandise items for sale during the evening. Leah will set up the merchandise before doors open, and it will remain until around 30 minutes after the show.

 

AFTER THE SHOW:

Once the show is over, Leah will typically go back to the 'green room' for a few minutes to rest before coming back out to pack up and greet whoever is still around. This time will need to be kept to a maximum of 30 minutes in order to be respectful of Leah’s time as well as your own. This will allow your house to be clear by approximately 45-60 minutes after the end of the show.

PRIVATE SHOW OPTION:

If you’re interested in a more intimate experience, Leah also offers private shows! For a flat rate, you can host a private performance for you and your invited guests. This option is perfect for those who prefer a more personalized and exclusive gathering. If you're interested in this option, please specify on the interest form.
